Fire doors to all services areas. |
Smoke detection and alarm system throughout. |
New fire pump |

In addition, a general Architect designed refurbishment of the entry and floor lobbies was undertaken.

Art Deco Dining Hall
GMH Fishermans Bend
PRM Constructions undertook a substantial renovation and refurbishment of the GMH Dining Hall and Social Centre. This Art Deco building was where the first "Holden car" was launched from in 1948.
The work included a new deli bar, full airconditioning, replacement of doors and re glazing of windows, asbestos removal, tiling & floor finishing, plastering and a full repaint.
This work was carried out in a manner which enabled the dining hall to continue to be used for breakfast and lunch during the construction period.
